Drying
Industrial dehumidifier 50 L
electriQ ECD50
50 litres a day. Dries out floods, leaks, damp and fresh plaster.
The electriQ ECD50 is a 50-litre-a-day industrial dehumidifier in a metal case on big wheels — built to be dragged through flooded ground floors and building sites. Set the target humidity on the humidistat and it runs itself, with a continuous drain hose so there's no tank to empty. Pair with drum fans to dry walls, floors and carpets after a leak, or to speed up plaster and screed.

Common questions
How long will drying take?
A typical leak-affected room takes 5–10 days with a dehumidifier and two drum fans. Walls and floors that look dry can still be damp underneath, so allow an extra day or two rather than stopping early.
Does it need emptying?
Not if you run the drain hose to a sink, drain or outside — it's gravity-fed, so the outlet needs to be lower than the unit. Otherwise the 7 L tank stops the machine automatically when full.
